    3. Hi James etc After nearly 9 months I finally managed to get some info from the 1901 census. I see a few of the ~80 LovelUcks came from Wilts. Have you got these sorted? Is the list on your website? I was surprised to see Margaretta Mathias Loveluck (nee Davies) & her dau Mary were boarding house keepers in Hastings. Strange that there was no mention of this when her son JEL & DRL went to live at nearby Bexhill in 1945. Have you got the full entries for these and "your" James in Lancs? No point paying twice or more!! I see that his bro Wm was in Lancs (S Manchester) - (why did he say he was born in Ireland when his birth was reg in Neath), but his wife Catherine was in Aberavon; I imagine they must have split up. I don't seem to have told you that my mother Muriel Mary Courtis Loveluck died on 3 May aged 86. She had been out in her Metro GTI and had a slight fall. It took the hospitals 10 days to discover she had broken her pelvis. They then managed to give her all the fatal hospital infections and finished her off with a dose of morphine au Shipman. I drove the old R-R to see the Queen on 27 April and this was the last thing we talked about. I had a quick 11 day 2200 mile trip with the old caravan to Gdansk in Poland for the wedding on 3 Aug of the real Magdalena after whom I named the car when there in 1995. Grenoble does not seem too far away now! John Dixon.
