    1. Errors in 1901 census

    3. Hi James etc again On my first go I failed to find nearly half the people I was searching for. I know that some like my Gpa John Edward Loveluck and Thomas Owen Davies (& his wife) were at sea, but several whole families are "missing". As in 1881 George Weight is under Wright. The wildcards facility can't be used for this. I found him in 1881 by using "Neighbours". But that seems to be out for 1901! I can't find my Howell family in Risca even using Howel* to cover spelling variations. Some individuals cannot be found anywhere, and yet I know they survived. I would never have found the birth of my GGPa Wm Turner if DRL had not told me he was registered "Thomas", but later christened Wm and called Wm (no Thomas at all!) Finding someone with a common name is going to be very tricky if they have moved. Even more so when ages are not right 10 instead of 16. G WRights birthplace is given as Newmarket Glam, but his Newmarket was in Glos! So there must be vast numbers or errors for them to put right. Will they be able to cope? John Dixon
