    3. Hello all, This is to let you know that I've made quite a few changes to the LovelUck Web pages in the last few days. Here are the detail, taken from the "What's New" page: * 22-Jan-03: Replaced the name search tool (which was no longer working since moving the Web pages to numericable.fr) with a new search capability <http://perso.numericable.fr/%7Elovjames/family-history/loveluck/search.htm> based on HouseSpider <http://housespider.sf.net/>, a Java applet. * 22-Jan-03: Updated the Family Tree pages <http://perso.numericable.fr/%7Elovjames/family-history/loveluck/family-tree.htm> to use the latest version of my Loveluck database. I also persuaded the Ged2Web program to include Events in the Notes which are linked to the Web pages for individuals. I often use Census Events to record details of census returns. * 17-Jan-03: Updated the page containing open questions and issues concerning Loveluck family history <http://perso.numericable.fr/%7Elovjames/family-history/loveluck/loveluck-questions.htm> to include some responses and relevant information from Allen Blethyn, Lynne Davis, Catherine Lovelock, Robert Sterry together with bits I dug out myself. * 17-Jan-03: Made some corrections and additions (provided by Allen Blethyn) to the MIs for the Abbey Church of St Mary, Margam <http://perso.numericable.fr/%7Elovjames/family-history/loveluck/mis-st-marys-margam.htm>. * 8-Jan-03: On the Family Tree page <http://perso.numericable.fr/%7Elovjames/family-history/loveluck/family-tree.htm>, updated to the latest version (V3.02) of the Java Applet, which has some new features - the index can be switched on and off, and the applet starts faster because it uses libraries (jar files). Also, I managed to produce a gedcom file (using PAF) which is handled better by the Java applet. The Java applet does not handle all gedcom 5.0 tags, but a gedcom 4.0 compatible file is handled much better. The notes and sources can now be visualised (in the "List" view) although the presentation is still not perfect. The family tree Web pages had not been updated since Nov 2000, so there are many additions and corrections, too numerous to list. In addition to these change, more information is now availabe on the pages, since they include more notes and events, including census details, etc. Please let me know if you find any errors or omissions, or any problems with the Web pages. Regards, James PS I'm planning to implement the search tool on the LovelOck pages within the next few days.
