I have now had further discussions with the Manager at The Bear Hotel in Hungerford and wish to clarify the procedure for booking places at the Event and accommodation at The Bear. EVENT BOOKINGS Event Bookings should be sent to Janet and Jeremy Lovelock. Janet and Jeremy are preparing a Booking Form and copies can be obtained by e mailing jlovelock@tesco.net or telephoning 01269-842336. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AT THE BEAR To book accommodation at the special rate ( £46.50 per person for one night's Bed & Breakfast Accommodation and £35.00 for two or more nights ) e mail the Manager ( Mr McNicoll ) quoting 'Lovelock Party ' to sales.bear@ramadajarvis.co.uk. For added security please note that this e mail address can only be viewed by Mr McNicoll. Alternatively Telephone 01488-682512. Credit Card details will be requested but the Account will not be charged until the event in June next year. Accommodation can be cancelled up to 7 days before the event at no charge thereafter cancellations incur charges on a sliding scale ( to be advised ). I enquired about single occupancy of rooms and was advised that the Hotel has 3 single bedrooms and these would be filled first. Once these are full a Supplement of £10 per night may be charged ( at the Manager's discretion ) for single occupancy of a double or twin bedded room.
