This enabled me to find all ten children of this pair who were baptised in Swallowfield and Elizabeth's only sibling Martin, ie the two names listed above. > Hampshire Lovelocks > Hartley Wespall, > There is one baptism in the IGI: > 1780 Oct 22 John s. Martin & Mary Lovelock I had missed this one so thanks for listing it. Hartley Wintney Heckfield (Mattingley) Winchfield Details snipped as I had found these. > Wiltshire Lovelocks > Great Bedwyn > Baptisms > 1851 Jun 21 (born 15 Jun 1851) John Martin LOVELOCK Mother: Hester > LOVELOCK I had also found this one but don't think it fits into the 'Heckfield' Lovelocks. Incidentally I do have the Martin Lovelock who was a son of ERK Lovelock & Violet May Occomore. I have a small interest in the Occomore family and my grandmother's third marriage was to a John (Jack) Hart who had previously been married to Violet May's aunt, Agnes Jane Occomore. (Violet May's mother was an Lovelock as well) My 'Heckfield' Lovelock family now looks like Martin & Anne ? o Elizabeth ca 1696 &1716 Jonathon Lewington ca 1696 o Martin ca 1699 &1727 Elizabeth Turner o Martin ca 1728 &1751 Elizabeth Poulter o Martin ca 1752-1814 &1774 Mary Heath ca 1756-1818 o Martin ca 1774 o Mary ca 1778 o John ca 1780 o Elizabeth ca 1784 o Martha ca 1787 o William 1790-1790 o Sarah ca 1793 o Elizabeth ca 1754 o Martha ca 1758 o Martha ca 1732-1734 o Elizabeth ca 1734 o John ca 1736 o Martha ca 1738 o Ann ca 1740 Of these I have no baptism for Martin born about 1752 only an age at death which gives the approx dob, so I have no evidence for making Martin a son of Martin & Elizabeth Poulter but he does fit into the pattern if I do. Similarly I have a burial date for William in 1790 which says son of Martin & Mary but there is no baptism date so I have placed him in the gap between Martha & Sarah. HBI has several possible burial dates for this 'Heckfield' family which I have yet to fit in. I really need to visit Hants RO to look at the Parish register fiche to confirm this hypothetical tree. Where the families were actually living and occupations of fathers should help in this respect. -- John Lewis <jayellatntlworlddotcom> from Bournemouth, Dorset, UK. using Debian GNU/Linux and GeneWeb genealogy software
