Hi everyone I'm hoping there might be a Lovelock out there who can help me with this brick wall I've been up against for quite sometime now. My great grandmother Martha Lovelock married Thomas Frank Wicks 26 September 1878 in the General Baptist Meeting House in Melksham, Wiltshire and on the marriage certificate her age is stated as being 18 years old. Her father's was James Lovelock who was deceased and the time of the marriage. On Martha's daughters birth certificate in 1886 Martha's age is listed as being 21 years old and on her death certificate in 1931 her age is listed as being 67. It also says that she had lived in New Zealand for 52 years. Going off her age when she married she would have been born round 1860 but if the other two ages are the correct ones she would have been born round 1865 but would only have been round 13 years old when she married. Are there any Lovelocks out yonder that have any suggestions or links to this mystery woman?? If so I would be eternally grateful if you could help me solve this problem.
