Bucks seem to have been forgotten! Today I've downloaded (£3 from pro-online) the image of the will of Thomas Loveluck (died Wycombe 3/1839) dated 6-2-1839, pr 20-12-39 by ML with Henry Loveluck, after L o A were granted to T's widow Mary in July on the "suggestion" that he was intestate. He was of Great Hortwell, (I think) in the parish Ffingest (on border with Oxon). After death of ML to be divided between his ch, Mary, Emma, ?Isoury?, Martin and Thomas. Youngest son T to have acre of freehold meadow at Grt Marlow. wits Henry Loveluck & George Lane. HL appeared personally, coachman to honourable Viscount ?Wood? of ?2R0? 38 Upper Grosvenor St Middx The relationship of Henry to Thomas is not given (or I can't read it!), but appears to be the Henry who d 11-4-1871 aged 84. I am ordering the fiche (£2.20)of the PR for Fingest (from Oxford!) so might have more to add! Maybe this is the "missing link" to find "our John" of 1739 Is there any other info from Fingest? Do you want the image for free James? I see from my old notes that I visited Chisledon ch yd 24-9-83 and noted John LovelUck d 21-3-1764 age 67 - but no others. Most nearby stones were illegible.
