    1. The return of the Lieflock Line!
    2. James Loveluck
    3. Hello all, Some of you will remember the lively discussion between Robert Sterry and Graham Lovelock which followed the publication in July 1999 of "The Lieflock Line" on the Web pages. The Lieflock Line was, and probably still is, the most complete Lovelock tree we have. Many of the conclusions of this discussion never got incorporated into a new version of The Lieflock Line, due to my failing in my duties :-( I have finally summoned up the energy to plunge back into the Lieflock Line, and I have started to gradually update my database to take into account the conclusions of the discussion mentioned above. In the meantime, we have much improved collections of PRs (thanks to Robert and other contributors) so I'm also trying to take into account this new information. This is quite a lengthy process, and rather than keep everyone waiting until I've completed the work, I've decided to make available periodic updates. These will take the form of: o An annotated version of the discussion between Robert and Graham, indicating which points have been taken into account and how o An updated version of the Lieflock Line descendent report o An updated gedcom file, which contains much more information than the above, including source references, notes, etc. The first installment is now available, and the details are described on the "What's New" page. For those of you who are familiar with the note containing the discussion between Robert and Graham, this revision covers points (a) to (l) together with (v), (w) and (z) (following the discussion of the two wives of George L, both named Eliza Fisher). Regards, James
