Ooops! What I should of course have added to the message below is that this provides an explanation for the two Lovelock households in Ecclesfield in the 1901 Census. Elijah's death occurred in the Oct-Dec quarter of 1896 in the Wortley RD (which includes Ecclesfield), according to FreeBMD. Reference is 9c 191.
