    3. Hi Graham Welcome to the list. I only have a minor interest in the Lovelock surname at this time so can't comment specifically on the Lovelock use of Biblical names. However, my research suggests the use of Isaac and other biblical names does not seem to denote Jewish blood. On my fathers side, I have traced the use of Isaac as a given name back to the 1700's in the heart of Wiltshire. In this family's case, they seemed to have non conformist leanings. The home of one of them was licensed for use as a meeting place for methodists.
