    3. I found four children on 1891 maybe Alice was away from home. They were Mark Annie George and Frank. What I would like to know is what took them all to Battersea?Thomas,Charlotte , Jane and Charles were all living very close to each other.Jane and Charlotte were next door to each other. On the death of her husband Charlotte moved to Henley Street Battersea and her children were living there for sometime.Funnily enough I myself moved into Henley Street with my parents in 1939 Jean Gilmore

    3. Most interesting Jean. What was their address in the 1891 census? When you say 'Thomas,Charlotte, Jane and Charles were all living very close to each other' are you referring to Lovelocks or Winders? More detail would be greatly appreciated and might explain why they moved to Battersea. It will probably turn out they had relatives living there. Who else was living at Henley St, Battersea? When did Philip Winder, Charlotte's husband die?
