Right, Jeremy I was curious about the actual address of the cottage. Is it 232 Grafton Road? I noticed that in 1891 Elijah (& George's) father William b 1811 per census record is living at 250 The Green, Marten Rd, East Grafton. Would that be in the vacinity? Listed as a widower & living alone. William & Lucy appear in every census as being at The Green. I am planning to go to find this location, also an address is given for George & wife Sarah, when my great grandfather Joseph is 5, as living at Primate House, Great Bedwyn. There is a post code RG11 1274 F40 P20 - would this be a map reading? Unfortunately there is no street address given for William's father Thomas & his wife Sarah (nee Dudman) Yet it is interesting to see how daughter Charlotte (left by her Husband) resides with them, with her children. Plus in 1851 Sarah's (presumably) brother Jonathan is listed as a lodger. The cottage shown on the photo on the website taken in about 1997 was of Elijah(b.Dec 1851) from East Grafton. It was posted on the website early this year. There may have been other pictures taken at the gathering or around that time that are now on the website. It should have a caption on it saying it was Elijah's cottage.
