Hi all, Thanks Mike, great to discover, so fast, another living descendent of their marriage. The data on the Lovelock web site has a huge gap of tens of years in the baptisms for Lambourn, a quick check shows the Berkshire Records Office has an unbroken time series. The subject Hannah marrying Henry Pottinger in 1764 is in the gap period for baptisms but it looks like Lovelocks were there in Lambourn, Berks from mid-16th century. I am back at work Tuesday 4 Jan 2005, so FH has to take a back seat again. However when I get a chance I will visit the BRO and record the missing years for the web site, unless somebody on the list already has a tree or data. I feel this might be another branch in the making i.e Berkshire 2 to compliment, Robert's and Gwen's, Berkshire 1. I now know Tryphena was born at West Challow. In the 1881 census she just gave Challow. Numbers in brackets are software package internal reference numbers. However they do give a guide as to the order in which persons were found! Anybody else with any clues or information on Hannah Lovelock at the head of the tree, or want more information on Julie Annis Lovelock grand-daughter of Charles Gibbs Lovelock?
