    3. Greetings all I have recently been collaborating with one of the decendants of one of the two known Lovelock convicts. Mary Pipe, who lives in NZ, descends from Robert Lovelock who was transported to Australia in 1833 on the 'Andromeda II', aged 18. Robert was baptised in 1818 in Bermondsey, Surrey. Sentenced for life. Mary is Secretary of the local branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists so her research is particularly thorough and most interesting. The other Lovelock convict was James Lovelock who was transported in 1835 on the 'England' aged 41 sentenced in Wiltshire for 7 years. Does anyone have any interest in or knowledge about either of these gentlemen? 3. There are also two Lovelock convicts to Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania), Henry and William. I have some information about them, as well as some information about Robert Lovelock. With best wishes Dianne Snowden G-g-g-granddaughter of Robert Lovelock per Andromeda II 1833 Richmond Tasmania -----Original Message----- From: Robert Sterry [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, 19 January 2005 11:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Australian Lovelock Convicts Greetings all I have recently been collaborating with one of the decendants of one of the two known Lovelock convicts.
