John Lewis The RGOBMD.doc file is on James's site - just put lovelock tasmania into Google and it comes up on the first page. James & John Lewis Maybe you could add deaths after 1900 to say 1950 from my last version you have? Also from this you could add to/correct your Tasmania tree. From the 1861 census we now know Henry (No 1) LovelUck was b Hambleden and from Lovelocks in Bucks it seems certain his parents were Martin & Ann LovelOck & he was born 1787 - he died 1871 aged 84 not 1865. This Henry was presumably the witness to the will of Thomas LU 1839 - he was a coachman. I imagine the George Loveluck, also a coachman (when he died 1863), victualler of "Red Lion" in 1861 aged 41 b St Geo H Sq, so b ~1820 was a son of Henry. A Martin m 9/50 at Kensington & 6/55 St Geo H Sq Another Martin d 6/1854 at Marylebone Seems the Martin who d 3/1867 at Kensington was son of Thomas & Mary Lovelock b 1819 Shaw Lovelucks/O You don't seem to have a copy of the will of Thomas L late of Shaw. I add it with some other notes of the BT's. I copied these early 80's, but know not where - might have been Trowbridge or Devizes? Not Berks! A Thomas Lovelock was ch warden at least 1768-71 (I copied his clear signature on the docs "Thos Lovelock" definitely "O") and 1778-81, 83-84, 86-87. Also Gabriel X was Ch W in 1763 - I have his bur 16-3-1769 (of Grange Farm Shaw) also Wm Ch W 1800 Ann dau of Gabriel & Martha Lovelock c 30-5-1760 Hannah d G&M c 11-3-63 Wm s G&M c 2-6-66 Christopher Coggens of Thatcham m Martha L otp Lic 22-7-1773 Martha L of Thatcham a child bur 25-10-83 Martha L age 72 bur 20-2-97 Edward L bur 16-7-1776 Thomas L bur 29-1-76 Gabriel L m Eliz L 2-5-76 [who is he?] Dan Deane? m Mary L 14-11-76 Thomas L m Ann Crocker 7-7-77 Elizabeth L age 90 bur 23-10-92 Charlotte of Wm & Charlotte b 15 c 20-5-93 Wm W&C b 3-6 c24-7-95 George W&C b 20 c 20-11-96 Charlotte L age 35 bur 31-3-1801 That's all I did. There was a big foundling hospital with ref numbers so I wonder if any Lovelocks were dumped there or obtained there!
