Hello John and Listers The Henry Lovelock in Brentford Middlesex was baptised at Hambleden Bucks on the 10th June 1787 - son of Martin Lovelock and Ann LAPPETH who were married 26 September 1773 at Great Marlow Bucks. Martin was from Hambleden parish. I am intrigued by a witness at this Wedding - a certain John Lovelock! It is possible that this John was my GGGG Grandfather who married Mary WHITWICK at Wallingford in 1779. However apart from this parish entry both Robert Sterry and myself have been unable, to date, to find a record of his birth in this locality. The Martin Lovelock of Chertsey Surrey died shortly after the 1861 Census was taken as the following entry appears in the National probaste Calendars: Probate Proved 8 May 1861 Martin late of Chertsey Surrey Sawyer died 14th April 1861.
