Some of the strange spellings may well reflect the fact that those registered did not have the London accent (whereas Lovelacke strikes me as very Cockney!) But let me direct your attention particularly to the marriage in 1690 between Richard Lovelock and Anne Percy. Percy is the family name of the Dukes of Northumberland, one of the most powerful in the land, and it's of Norman origin. Were there high flyers in the family back then? And do these records of your say what was the occupation of the Lovelocks concerned?
