I'm trying to send this to everyone I've got in my various e-mail address books, then I remembered the Lovelock list... For anyone who doesn't know me, my oldest and closet friend Tamar was diagnosed with a very aggressive type of cancer in February. She is 26 and should have her whole life ahead of her. Unfortunately the useless government apparently thinks that £50,000 is too much to pay to save her life, so she is being denied the drug that she needs. Without it she might not even see the year out. I could rant for hours if not days on this topic, but it won't help. What will, is if every person she knows, and every person they know, pays a pound at the very least, to try and raise the money she needs to get this drug privately. Forward this message on to as many people as possible, and any ideas for publicity or fund raising much appreciated.
