Whilst searching for my elusive Maternal Great Grandfather at the London Metropolitan Archives on Saturday I came across the following entry in the Parish Register of St Mary's Battersea Surrey. Baptism - 8th January 1857 Born - 18th August 1856 Louisa Elizabeth Lovelock Parents - John and Louisa Lovelock Abode - Battersea Occupation - Builder I searched Baptisms 1852-1876 but did not find any other Lovelock entries. The following appeared in the Kelly's London Suburban Directory ( Southern Suburbs ) 1872 - Samuel Lovelock 19 Waldrons Croydon. Hopefully these may be of use to someone on The List.
