Sorry my message wasn't very clear Simone! As far as I'm aware no-one is doing 1891, so this would be an alternative. Maybe Graham could shout out if he's working on 1891. Again, we have an incomplete collection on the Web site, but I'm not sure how complete the current file is. The goal is to end up with collections of census records for all Lovelocks resident in a particular county at the time of the census. So anyone born in Wilts but living in another county would go into the collection for that county. I think it's best to transcribe the records "as is", but you might want to make a note of obvious spelling errors (or just write "sic" after them). I don't believe we do have all the entries for 1851 or 1861 (or 1891 for that matter). Also, for some records the information we have is incomplete. So the idea would be to search through all the Lovelocks resident in Wilts in 1861 say, compare them with what we have in the existing collections, and provide me with a list of all additional or corrected records. You'll find the existing collections on the Web site under Sources -> Wiltshire in the section "Census Records". At the moment there are actually two files for 1861 and I'll have to merge these eventually, together with any additions or corrections you come up with. Direct links to the two files are as follows: http://perso.numericable.fr/~lovjames/family-history/lovelock/documents/1861-wilts.html and http://perso.numericable.fr/~lovjames/family-history/lovelock/documents/1861-wilts2.html Don't bother trying to provide the data in HTML format, unless you're very experienced at editing HTML. If you could just provide records in the following form, in either a text file or a Wrod document, that would be great: Great Bedwyn (+ any further details of address, reference RG9 ... etc) John Lovelock Head 56 Ag Labourer Gt Bedwyn, Wilts Sarah Lovelock Wife 54 Burbage, Wilts Please leave at least two spaces between fields (name, relation, age, etc.) - this makes it easier for me to process the data and produce HTML I hope this is a bit clearer!
