James ----------- To: moonrakers@egroups.com From: dstiles@linkcheck.co.uk Date: Sun, 3 Dec 2000 21:22 +0000 (GMT) Subject: [moonrakers] Web Site On-Line The Moonraker's web site is on-line now at http://www.moonrakers.org.uk Apologies for delays but after Debbie sent me her pages to put up I hit a major work-load. I still have a number of things to add to it - dynamic links pages, links submission form, guest book etc - which I'm hoping will be in place by the new year. If anyone is interested in sending in gedcoms to include in the site then please address them to me at moonrakers@linkcheck.co.uk (NOT the address in the sig!). Please include the following details: Gedcom Title: Predominant Names: Description: Email address of owner (if known): Email address of submitter (ie: you): To my mind gedcoms were one of the most useful features of the old site. We have a few which we downloaded from there but I'm uncertain about uploading them to the new site without the owners' permission. If they are not offered soon we'll look through them and try to obtain that permission; hopefully there may even be a newer version of them available. Until I can get a suitable form on-line, please send in any web site links to moonrakers@linkcheck.co.uk with the information below: Site Title: Description: Web address : http:// Email address of owner (if known): Email address of submitter (ie: you): If you would like to contribute a page to the site please let us know (email as above). It could be just an essay on your village or something more ambitious. Don't wory if you can't build web pages, we have to reformat anyway - plain text and (if possible) a scanned picture or three is all we need. ___________ Dave Stiles stiles@linkcheck.co.uk http://www.linkcheck.co.uk/genealogy/ (Stiles Family History) http://bristolindex.co.uk/genealogy/ (Bristol Index: Genealogy) http://about-bristol.co.uk (About Bristol Pictorial Tour)
If it's a matter of who says Aye, I say Aye. Compliments of the impending (if you ignore the displays in all the supermarkets now entering on their fourth month) season to all.
