Hello all, Malcolm L pointed out to me that his file with the Lovelock extracts from the Nimrod marriage index is already linked to the Lovelock Web pages: -> Sources -> Wiltshire -> section on "Wiltshire - Other Records" The file includes records from other sources as well (e.g. the IGI) but the Nimrod extracts are clearly indicated by N-... at the beginning of the line. In fact, Malcolm sent me a more recent version of his file, and I have now linked this one to the Web page. Malcolm confirmed that there are about 211 Nimrod records, and that he obtained these in Aug 1986. For comparison, I have now also linked to the same Web page the Nimrod marriage extracts (about 98 of them) which I obtained from the Carters in Sept. 1998. So it seems as if I got short-changed! In fact, its not simply the case that Malcolm had a lot of extracts which I didn't get. I haven't been through the files completely yet, but I already saw one record (the second in the list I got) which is not in Malcolm's file! This seems to indicate that the extraction method used by the Carters isn't very reliable! Although I haven't checked this, I believe that Robert has the entries from both files, since I think he first included the records I had (flagged as Nimrod index) and then added the extra records from Malcolm.
