    3. Evening all I am sure, Steve, that it is no so much a matter of ignoring you, but, speaking for myself anyway, not having even the remotest hint of a link to Shipton Moyne or any other Gloucester Lovelocks. However, and this is one for the List to pick up on as well, Shipton Moyne is only just over the border from Wiltshire so perhaps there may be some connection. One of "my" lots, for instance, provides a Wiltshire/Hampshire connection. Perhaps it is time we added the Gloucestershire data. There is one other matter that occurs to me. I have been through Shipton Moyne on a few occasions, and often travel near it when picking up one of my colleagues from Malmesbury for an out-of-office visit. Malmesbury is a fairly large parish, and yet I note that on the Site we have no data from there at all. But even odder for a parish so large is that it does not get a mention in the "Parishes searched without finding any Lovelocks" list at the head of the section. James and Robert - is it true that we have missed somewhere? It could easily be that the Shipton Moyne families had Malmesbury connections, and there would be our Wiltshire/Gloucester link. Enough speculation for tonight Regards Graham From: TnS750@aol.com To: LOVELOCK-L@rootsweb.com Subject: re: lovelocks in Gloucester Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2001 15:58:31 EDT Hello malcolm I'm a rather passive spectator of the "Lovelock list" as nobody seems interested in my lot (Shipton Moyne, Gloucester) and ignores my mailings. But I pricked up my ears on hearing you had the Gloucester 1851 CD. I have the 1851 for Shipton Moyne, with some of my Lovelock relatives on. But I'd be very interested to hear if you find any more in neighbouring parishes. 3. Evening Graham Quite possibly Graham. Does anyone feel like extracting Lovelocks from Malmesbury PRs in Wiltshire? Unfortunately, these registers have not been filmed by the LDS. So they're certainly not in the IGI. That means a visit to the Wiltshire Record Office to have a look. I think that leaves me out at the moment from Australia. Any other takers?
