When and Where Born Name Fathers Name Mothers Name and (Maiden Name) Occ Father Reg Date 21/11/1869 Sarah Thomas Sarah Ann *(Mildenhall) Farm Lab 26/12/1869 Bagshot Shalbourne Ann Lovelock Lovelock * Mildenhall with the first L crossed out. Registration District Hungerford Birth in the Sub-district of Kintbury in the Counties of Berks, Hants asnd Wilts Certificate No BXBZ 315506 Application No Y007615 Does anyone know if Bagshot is a parish on its own or just comes under Shalbourne as I am not sure? I have sent off for further copies of Thomas and Sarah Ann (Mildenhall) Lovelock's chidren in Wiltshire and N. Wales will pass on details. Regards Malcolm "L"

Hi Malcolm Bagshot is mentioned as being part of Shalbourne in my book on Wiltshire Place names. Also, Bagshot is not mentioned as a parish on a map of Wiltshire Parishes. Will see if I can find further information tomorrow.
