Mary Inez Lovelace, 82 a resident of Chowchilla and Merced since 1932 passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was born in Madera, California and attended Chowchilla area schools. She married Henry Lovelace in 1952. Inez and Henry moved to Merced and raised their five children. Inez worked as a bank teller at Wells Fargo and County Bank until her retirement. After retirement she moved to Chowchilla and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Inez, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry. She leaves behind one son, Daniel Lovelace and four daughters, Diane Steele (Dave), Delene Meidlinger (Mark), Donna Brunmeier (Pat), Doris Black (Steve), 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her longtime companion, Ruben Price. She also leaves behind her brother, Albert Borba and sisters, Telvena Chumbley and Elvera Garrison. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Ivers & Alcorn, 901 W. Main Street in Merced. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 459 W 21st St in Merced. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Merced.
