    1. [LL] Obituary of James Scott Loveless - MI
    2. bgsroots via
    3. LOVELESS, JAMES SCOTT; of Waterford; August 27, 2014; age 61. Survived by his loving wife, Valerie; loving daughters, Ashley and Christina; siblings, Thom (Nancy), Marveen, and Timothy (Marcy); and loving mother-in-law, Betsy. James was a man who loved every minute of life. He was loved by everyone who had the privilege of meeting him. Despite his many medical problems over the past seven years, Jim always chose to see the positive. Thanks to the wonderful staff at the University of Michigan Hospital, particularly Dr. Jonathan Haft, and by the grace of God, Jim was blessed with seven extra years that he probably would not have had otherwise. Jim loved his family more than anything and he showed it through the thoughtful things he did. He had a passion for woodworking and he has left behind a house full of creations that will allow his memories to shine through forever. We rest assured that James is now in heaven healthy once again and waiting until the day he will once again be reunited with his family and friends. Mr. Loveless was retired from General Motors and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 11 a.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. Officiating Reverend L.E. Traxler. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Crescent Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Rochester Hills Baptist Church. Online guestbook www.modetzfuneralhomes.com Published in Daily Tribune on Aug. 31, 2014 and The Oakland Press
