Jan. 30, 1928 - Sep. 14, 2014 Jean Purcell Loveless, 86 of Concord, Alabama returned home September 14, 2014. She was born January 30, 1928 in Sumter county Alabama. The youngest of 12 children to Gene and Lula Purcell, she was retired from America's First Federal Credit Union. She is predeceased by her parents, nine of her siblings and her traveling companion and husband of 56 years Robert S (Sam) Loveless. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Dickinson (Mitch) of Pleasant Grove, Brenda Loveless of Pleasant Grove, Kathy Loveless of Atlanta, Georgia, two granddaughters, Shelby and Alex Dickinson of Pleasant Grove, step-grandson Fred Dickinson of Birmingham, two sisters, Marion Bailey (James) of Birmingham and Edna Bridges of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and pseudo-grandchildren. Rev Dean Bowers will be officiating. The visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 10:30 AM, at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Dean Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
