Published in Kansas City Star on Sept. 30, 2014 =========== >From Ferry Funeral Home: Helen Irma Loveless Helen Irma Loveless, 98, of Nevada, MO passed from this life at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Nevada Nursing and Rehab in Nevada. She was born on February 24, 1916 in Bates County, MO to Benjamin Franklin Loveless and Mary Isabelle (Burk) Loveless. Helen was raised in Bates County and worked for the IRS in Kansas City until her retirement. She moved to Vernon County in 2007 to be near family. She attended a non-denominational church that followed New Testament teachings. Her hobbies were reading, crocheting and embroidery and she enjoyed flowers. Survivors include two nieces, Janet Snead of Nevada and Ruth MacQuithy of Ozark, MO; two nephews, Wayne Davis of Camdenton, MO and Carl Davis of Buffalo, MO; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Loveless, two sisters Hazel Davis and infant Elsie Loveless, infant niece Iris Loveless and fiancé Edgar Stevens. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Domenic Enrietta and Warren Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Schell City, MO.
