Lovelace     Roger Dale Lovelace, age 68, of Florence, passed away Dec. 7, 2014. Visitation will be today, from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dwayne McDuff and the Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.     Mr. Lovelace was a retired manager of the Florence Gas Department and served as past president of ANGA. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church were he served as deacon. He coached Upward Basketball for several years.    He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Estelle Lovelace, and grandparents, Homer and Louise Lovelace.    He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jeanne Golden Lovelace; children, Dale (Kim) Lovelace, Walnut Grove, Missouri, and Michelle Lovelace Taylor and fiancé, Robert Durham, of Florence; siblings, David (Glenda) Lovelace, Doyle (Brenda) Lovelace, and Stella (Bob) McDuff; grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, and Joshua Lovelace, Nashville, Tennessee, and Skylar and Ali Grace Taylor, of Florence; great-grandchildren, Erin Caldwell, Elizabeth Caldwell, and Isaac McMorries, of Nashville; and several loving nieces and nephews.    A special thanks to the responders from Florence Fire and Police departments, WICP, and Dr. Lyman Mitchell and his nurse, Charlie.    Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WICP-Westminister Interfaith Caring Place, 300 Industry St., Suite 100, Florence, AL 35630.
