I was at CVS this afternoon picking up an Rx. The clerk knows me and called me Mr. Lovelace. As I was walking away from the counter the girl said there is an man who wants to talk to you. I looked around and a man ask are you Mr. Lovelace. I responded yes, and then he introduced himself as James(Jim) Lovelace, Jr. We talked for a couple of minutes and discovered that we both live in Locust Grove, Virginia. To make a it short, James (Jim) Lovelace, Jr was born in 1933 and has a son named Richard who owns a golf store in Fredericksburg, VA. James Lovelace's father is James Lovelace, Sr born about 1905 in Halfax, Va and moved to North Carolina. James Jr. was born N.C. and returned to Virginia later in life. I can't find anything on either of them. Can anyone give me some help? He remembers his father talking about his linkage going back to England. That's all I have currently. We plan on getting together in a few weeks and see if we can find any linkage. He has not gone any genealogy wokk.
