I finished another BGSOTC volume with only one Loveless in the 3940 names. The Loveless is “E. B. Loveless 1-0” on Page 78 listed under “September Probate Court 1842 (pp. 382-383) "James W. Carson Sheriff of this County returned into Court the following list of Insolvent and delinquent Taxables for the year 1841 to wit" [Two columns are given: white polls and black polls, indicated here by the two numbers, respectively, following the name.]” He is listed in the 3rd column sixth one down. The only Lovelace/less in that area that pops to mind is Berry Ellison Lovelace, Sr. who was in Rutherford County in 1840 and then Cleveland County in 1850. I know the initials are backwards from the name. Any other thoughts by anyone on who this might be? Bob P.S.
