WEST POINT - Robert L. Paulette, 69, of Shacklefords, VA passed away May 23, 2015 after a long battle with COPD. Robert loved to garden and could grow absolutely anything. He also had a soft heart for all of God's creatures, but especially his beloved Reba. Robert was a mechanic by trade and could listen to a running car and be able to diagnose the problem. He was the son of the late George and Glenna (Waltrip) Bonniville and Robert William Paulette. Robert was also preceded in death by his wife Catherine Groom Paulette. Robert is survived by their children Paula Groom Eash(Patrick) and Glenn Paulette (Heather). Robert is also survived by his wife Wanda Gale Soles Paulette; a son Max Paulette (Beth); a daughter Renee Stovall (Curt); grandchildren Max, Jr., Dillon, George, Jake, Destiny, Madison and Allison. He is also survived by a sister Janice B. Wheatley (Doug); sister-in-law Dale Lovelace (Tony) and brothers-in-law Carl Soles and Bernard Soles (Ruby)as well as many other family members. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
