Muriel M. Tobias, 84 MUNCIE - Muriel M. Tobias, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 2, 2015. She was born on October 7, 1930 in Muncie, the daughter of Ralph Williams and Viola (Shreves) Williams. Muriel graduated from Royterton High School in 1948. She was a lifelong member of Northside Assembly of God and also attended Glad Tidings; she was active in the church and enjoyed children's ministry and vacation Bible school. Muriel was a homemaker, enjoyed reading and crocheting. Her and her husband also owned a Home Fruit Market where she enjoyed working. Survivors include her children, Betty Nickens of Selma, Rina (husband, Bob) Scroggins of Muncie and Joe (wife, Terry) Tobias of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Jamie Davies, Dana Williams, Michael Nickens, Renee Loveless, Dr. Candice Burns, Christopher Tobias, Sonya Tobias, Nick Tobias, Michelle Flowers and Josh Tobias; fourteen great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Wanda Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Tobias; two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Kevin Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
