A search on FamilySearch for Tina Louise Lovelace returns two hits from the NC Birth Index, 1800-2000. The first is for Tina Louise Lovelace, born 1963 in Reidsville, Rockingham Co., NC, daughter of Willard Wilson Lovelace, Jr. This Tina would be about 52 years old today. Paul Kunz's obit says he was 40, a difference of 12 years which, while not impossible, is not the norm. The second entry in the birth index is for Tina Louise Lovelace born 1984 in Rutherfordton, Rutherford Co., NC, the daughter of James Clifford Lovelace and Cathy Ann Walters. This Tina would be 31 years old, a nine-year difference, which is a more plausible scenario. If Cuzzin Cecil was still with us, he could help straighten this one out, because the Tina from Rutherford County is my second cousin twice removed, and the grandniece of Cecil. I tend to think based on proximity, that the younger Tina is the one who married Paul Kunz of this obit. If I am correct, then Tina is a triple-dipper in the Lovelace gene pool. There will be a private vigil held Monday evening. Funeral arrangements will be held 4p.m. April 28 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gastonia. Visitation and reception following funeral.
