Zena, I would tend to go with FamilyTree DNA, just because they have our yDNA test. If you check their prices, they may be similar to Ancestry. Even if theirs isn't on sale, I would choose them over Ancestry. Just my personal opinion... Today is the last day for the lower price. Do you think this is a good purchase on DNA kits? Don't forget you can have both by purchasing through Ancestry and then doing a "transfer" to FTDNA. This will create a free but limited account at FTDNA that can be upgraded to FTDNA's "Family Finder" product either by paying $39 OR upgraded for free if you can get 4 other's to create free accounts using your custom link. If you often subscribe to Ancestry I would definitely chose to test with Ancestry to take advantage of the new "DNA Circles" and the new "New Ancestry Discoveries" features that are available on your DNA test page but which also require an active subscription to Ancestry.com. Anyone needing help with transferring a DNA test to FTDNA, just let me know. I will be more than happy to share my own custom transfer link ;-) On Mon, Apr 27, 2015 at 3:54 PM, Greg Lovelace via <[email protected]> wrote: > Zena, > I would tend to go with FamilyTree DNA, just because they have our yDNA > test.
