A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Lakeview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Chris Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Bratton Funeral Home. Margaret was a daughter of Raymond Allen White and Irene Brown White Nivens. She was the widow of Kenneth I. Ray and was retired from Wal-Mart and the textile industry. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lovelace (Doug) of Bessemer City, N.C.; son, Timothy Ray (Rosie) of York, S.C.; brother, David White (Frances) of York, S.C.; sister, Frances Glover of Gastonia, N.C.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond "Chuck" Ray. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
