Paul E. Marksberry, Jr., 48, of Norwood, OH. died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on May 8, 1966 in Williamstown to Paul E. Marksberry, Sr. and Janet J. Lovelace Marksberry. He was a graduate of Williamstown High School and was a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church. He proudly served his country for over 10 years in the United States Air Force. During his time in the service, he received the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Longevity Service Award, the Air Force Training Ribbon, the Air Force Overseas Service Long Tour Ribbon, and the National Defense Service Medal. He also received the Humanitarian Service Medal for his part in the relief efforts from the July 1990 earthquake in Northern Luzon, Republic of the Philippines while deployed with the 13th Air Force Medical Center, Medical Rapid Response Force. Survivors include his parents, Rev. Paul E. and Janet Marksberry of Williamstown; a sister, Stephanie Newman of Williamstown; nephews, Ray Newman and Kalub Paul Newman, both of Williamstown and nieces, River Newman and Lola Newman, both of Williamstown. Committal service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mt.
