Jan. 12, 1942 - Mar. 18, 2015 YUKON Doris Ann Lawson departed this life on March 18, 2015, at the age of 73 years. Ann was born January 12, 1942, to George and Doris (Blount) Lovelace. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother. She loved designing and piecing quilts and making crafts for the annual Blount Family Reunion. She was loved and admired by all who knew her and her home was always open to all. Ann attended Stable Rock Baptist Church of Yukon, OK. Ann was married April 14, 1962 to Paul Lawson. To this union two children were born, a son, Dennis and a daughter, Lynnita. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents and one sister, Jeannie Wagner. Ann is survived by her son, Dennis, of the home, her daughter, Lynnita Stark; grandsons, Christopher Stark and wife Megan; Jacob Stark, granddaughter, Kathleen Stark, great granddaughter, Bridget Stark; her sister, Susan McMillan all of Yukon, OK; and a brother, David Lovelace and wife, Joanie of Mustang, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends. Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services for Ann will be conducted on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 10:00 am at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Elmer Dye conducting the services. Pallbearers are Christopher Stark, Jacob Stark, David Lovelace, David Wagner, Dennis Lawson, Charlie Wagner and Raymond Maxfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons, Hospice of Oklahoma County or Stable Rock Baptist Church in loving memory of Ann.
