JOHNSTON, S.C. - Mrs. Mary Emma Anderson Scurry, 96, the widow of Jinks Scurry, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in the University Hospital, Augusta, GA. She was born in Edgefield, SC, daughter of the late Milledge and Ammie Loveless Anderson. She was a member of the Pleasant Lane Baptist Church. She is survived by: stepson, Sammie L. Scurry, New York; three stepdaughters, Mary (John) Ryans and Dorothy (Mack Lee) Ryans, both of Trenton, SC and Ethel Mae Scurry, New York; brother, Julian (Frances Lee) Anderson, Edgefield, SC; sister, Hattie A. Scurry, Edgefield, SC; and other relatives. Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Monday, March 2, 2015, at Pleasant Lane Baptist Church, Edgefield, SC.
