Picture appears to be an African-American Richard T. Loveless Schenectady Richard T. Loveless, 78, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015, after a long illness. Born on December 25, 1936 in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late James and Margaret Jackson Loveless. He was a lifelong Schenectady resident and graduate of Nott Terrace High School. He enjoyed playing basketball and pool, and was an avid bowler and fisherman which he enjoyed for many years until his illness. Richard worked at General Electric in Schenectady for 39 years until his retirement. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by two sons, Ricky and Mark Loveless. Richard is survived by his wife, Deacon Odell Outler Loveless; his three children, Rev. Brenda (Rev. Steve) Loveless Shaw, Cherie Loveless and Michele Loveless, all of Schenectady; seven grandchildren, Chereen Marshall, Brianca Shaw, Dominic Moore Loveless, Marquise Loveless, Markia Loveless, Javon Mott, and Marisa Williams-Hoyt; one great-grandson, Myles K. Torres; three cousins, Audrey P. Harvey, Larry Loveless and Tony Harder; nephews and niece, James Jay Jr., Tony, and Jodia Loveless; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday at 5 p.m. at Light's Funeral Home, 1428 State St., Schenectady.
