That article reminded me of the "assumption" that our Benjamin (b ca 1727) married Sarah Collier based on the wording of the deed from Collier to Benjamin. That didn't hold up after I found several other Collier deeds to different people with exactly the same wording. It seems Mr. Collier was leaving himself a loophole to return to MD if he wanted to and to be able to come back and live on his land, but he had several tracts to choose from since they all said the same thing.
