Smith, Jr., 92, of Whitestone, went to his eternal home March 14, 2015. He was born May 9, 1922 in Spartanburg County where he grew up and retired as a farmer after many years of tending to his family's land and livestock of Smith Dairy Farm. He was a graduate of Sptbg. High and Sptbg. Junior College. Mr. Smith was a member, and served as Deacon, at First Presbyterian Church of Sptbg. He was the son of the late J.H. Smith, Sr. and Norine Morrow Smith. He was predeceased by his brother Jones E. Smith. He is survived by his sisters Patricia M. Smith of Whitestone, Nora S. Tindall of Sptbg. and sister-in-law Betty B. Smith of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by nephew Michael A. Tindall (Dedra) of Gilbert, SC, niece Dina T. Cooksey (Wayne) of Boiling Springs, grandnieces Elizabeth C. Bryson of Inman, Natalie C. Lovelace (Josh) of Chesnee, three great-grandnieces and one great-grandnephew. Services will be announced when scheduled by Seawright Funeral Home, Inman.
