Jim Sells 77, of Byrdstown, TN, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at his residence. Jim was born November 15, 1937 in Pickett Co., TN to John Cato Sells and Hester Emogene (Winningham) Sells. He lived most of his life in Indiana. A member of the Byrdstown First Baptist Church in Byrdstown, TN, and a 50 year charter member at Thompson Road Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. Jim was retired from NAPA Balkamp as Operations Manager for 32 years. Survivors include wife of 57 years, Patsy (Taylor) Sells-Byrdstown, TN; 3 daughters, Debbie Blackwell and Husband Chris, Mooresville, IN, Tami Litten and Husband Jim, Carmel, IN, and Tonya Gentry and Husband Mike, Arrington, TN; 3 sisters, Oleta Basicker and Husband Mel, Murfeesboro, TN, Judy Sells, and Alma Smith, both of Byrdstown, TN; 2 brothers, Bill Sells and Wife Betty, Greenwood, IN, and Roger Sells and Wife Darlene, Byrdstown, TN; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Gates and Husband Nate, A.J. Baldwin, Taylor Gentry, and Clayton Joseph (C.J.) Gentry; 1 grandson-in-law, Chris Loveless; 2 great-grandchildren, Gavin Loveless and Owen James Gates; and nieces, nephews, and other family friends and friends. Jim was preceded in death by parents, John and Emogene Sells; loving granddaughter, Jamie Blackwell Loveless; and 4 sisters, Cleta Mae Sells, Annabelle Sells, Katie Edwards and Nellie Wilson. Services for Jim will be on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Byrdstown First Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest in Smyrna Cemetery. Local arrangements will be on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Thompson Road Baptist Church, 1700 E.
