After WWII ended, her parents went into the grocery business with Ed Spence's Markets, then at Sunnyside Markets. > Charlene and John were married in 1959 and spent 55 years in a great, wonderful marriage, building a home in Lake County doing much of the work themselves with our young sons at the time! They enjoyed travels to many places around the world, with friends and family, many times taking off just the two of them to explore other countries! > Charlene was a bookkeeper working for M & L Trucking, Weill Industrial Supply and retired from Northbay Regional Center in Napa. > Charlene's hobbies were a myriad of cooking, gardening, art, painting, travel and especially spending time with her treasured family and the grandkids. > She is survived by husband John, sons Mark (Susanne), & Scott (Stephanie), grandchildren, Channing, Travis, Cameron, Sean, Kelli, Kaity and Connor.
