She was born in Cleveland County, daughter of the late T. A. Champion and Bessie Reynolds Champion. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands C.B. Clary, Robert Lovelace and James Hall. She was the baby of 12 children and was also preceded in death by brothers Floyd, Tommy, Gene, Howard, Jr., J.D., Lyman and Charlie Champion; sisters, Gertrude Porter, Annie Short, Virginia Ware; and by grandson Robbie Clary. She was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, loved sewing, quilting and traveling. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Clary and wife Violet, Kings Mountain, Kenneth Clary and wife Judith, Kings Mountain; daughters, Pam Turner and husband Wayne, Kings Mountain, Kathy Childers and husband Tommy, Gaffney, SC, Sara Paulette Towery and husband David, Grover; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild; special friends; Glenda and Charlie Caldwell, Walland, TN; and her beloved dog, Socks. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2015, prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2015, at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain with Rev. John Barnhardt and Rev. Dennis Wells officiating.
