JOHN HOWARD GORE John Howard Gore, 90, went to his heavenly home on Friday, March 13th with his loving family and caregivers by his side. He was born August 20, 1924. Howard served in the US Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Eva Hewett Gore, his parents; Edward Vance Gore, Sr. and Messic Parker Gore, and three brothers; Alric, Jack, and EV, Jr. He is survived by his children; Dianne Williams (Easton), Marcia Smith, Thurston Gore (Beth) and Anita Moore (Wayne); his only sister, Linda Loveless, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong member of Jennies Branch Baptist Church. The family extends gratitude to his special caregivers; Tammy, Betty, Cathy and Tina. Visitation will be at Brunswick Funeral Services, 5229 Ocean Hwy W. Shallotte on Sunday, March 15th between 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Jennies Branch Baptist Church, Monday at 2 pm.
