England ========================= Published in The Herald from Jan. 31 to Feb. 4, 2015 Marjorie Flack Buchanan FORT MILL - Mrs. Marjorie Flack Buchanan, 92, died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill, S.C. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fort Mill Funeral Home for family and close friends. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. A native of Union Mills, N.C., Mrs. Buchanan was a daughter of the late John Edward Flack and Malinda Koon Flack. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Mill. She loved playing and watching basketball. She was the widow of Worth C. Buchanan. Surviving are two sons, Clyde Buchanan and his wife, Pat and Ted Buchanan and his wife, Gail; one brother, Kolen Flack; three sisters, Frances Phillips, Thalia Shook and Martha Lovelace; three grandchildren, Noel Buchanan, Ben Buchanan and Julia Bales and her husband, Marshall; two great-grandchildren, Carli and Hayden Buchanan and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Austin Flack, Justin Flack, John Flack Jr., Neal Flack and Pete Flack and two sisters, Beth Poin-dexter and Alla Briscoe. The family would like to express their appreciation to Home Instead for the care that they gave for several years; the staff at White Oak Manor of Rock Hill and the hospice staff from Hospice and Community Care.
