Warren R. Lovelace QUINCY, IL - Warren R. Lovelace, 86, of Quincy and formerly of Springfield, Ill., died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at the Illinois Veterans' Home in Quincy. He was born Sept. 22, 1928, near Patterson, the son of Burley and Mabel Bryant Lovelace. He married Edna Louise Arnold on June 30, 1950, in Pinckneyville, Ill. Surviving are his wife, Edna of Quincy; children: Sheryl Bryan of Quincy, Beverly (Kerry) Hirtzel of Shumway, and Carol (Richard) Foster of Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Warren was preceded in death by a sister and son-in-law. Warren was employed for 36 years by CIPS in various engineering capacities and retired in 1994. He worked for CIPS in Springfield for many years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Daws Family Funeral Home in Roodhouse with interment at Pine Tree Cemetery near Patterson.
