Mary Elizabeth Pruett (nee Lovelace) passed away late on Thursday afternoon, February 12, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer. Mary Pruett was born on July 26, 1952, the daughter of Ruby and Lowell Lovelace. A lifetime resident of Rolla, Mary was a graduate of Rolla High School. As a young adult she accepted Christ as her savior and was affiliated with the Greentree Christian Church of Rolla. Mary worked as an in-home caregiver for Rolla Home Care and for the last few years as a senior companion. She enjoyed immensely the interaction she had with her clients. She is survived by two brothers: John Lovelace of Atlanta, Georgia; Ed Lansford (wife Linda) of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Pegge Lansford Culp (husband Ron) of Whitsett, North Carolina; five nephews and two nieces; five great-nieces and five great- nephews; seven cousins; her best friend Gary Linna of Rolla, and many other friends. Memorial services for Mary Pruett will be conducted by Pastor Tim Cook at 11 am on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Greentree Christian Church located at 800 Greentree Road in Rolla, Missouri.
