Mornin' Cuzzies, The last gasp of August.....and it couldn't come soon enough! This has certainly been a record hot one for us down here in Texas......although the last few days have been in the low 90's instead of the high 90's w/ a few showers from time to time, which has not been as deadly. And, since we last visited, mighty Casey from Pearland, the Little League boys, struck out.....however, they have been welcomed like Kings back here in Houston town. ( : I tracked a Lincoln town car I was after.....though you who've been w/ me many yrs. know I drive one town car after another completely into the ground.....beautiful, clean car, well, well priced. I wheeled it around the block and proclaimed it was a magnificent car and the best on the road. However, it was light years difference in what Lincoln ordinarily produced in the past and it was too bad the company no longer knew what they were doing. No cars are even comfortable anymore because of the way one is strapped in a little comparment area like we are going to be shot from a missle. Ah, me! What some people consider "progress" has a lot to be desired. I now own another Lincoln. ( : Y'all have a good one! ( : Buckette
